The sun is out, the day is glorious, but alas and alack, the snow melts. Instead of white fluff the streets are brown sludge. Definitely just like home in Alberta. Our winters were cold, and when I was little, the snow was deep. Did I mention it was cold? Very very cold – like -30 not counting the windchill cold. But we had chinooks, warm winds from the Rockies that could raise the temperature overnight from -30 to t-shirt weather. And which resulted in sludgy brown streets and the pervasive smell of melting dog doo on residential streets.
Hmmm. Time to practice pulling shots. I need my morning latte.
